The Valencian railway operates under the name of Valencian Metro, a network that connects the main areas of the city and its outskirts, with 5 lines subdivided between the underground metro (lines 1, 3 and 5) and the tram (lines 4 and 6).

The bus company EMT (Municipal Transport Company) provides a service for the whole metropolitan area of Valencia, with another 50 lines, which operate day and night.
